What would I do differently? 

 

- When i first think about it, i don't really know if i would change anything at all, because Coach Carter's leadership style worked. However if i were to choose one thing to do differently, i would probably choose to not have a contract. I believe that the contract is what caused the most conflict for the team and the relationship they had with Coach Carter. So if the contract did not exist, then Coach Carter seemlingly would have had a better relationship with the basketball team to START off with. Though, restating the requirements Coach Carter had in the contract, instead of making them conform to the contracts, Carter could have done things himself. By this i mean checking attendence records himself, and personally taking the time to interview each player. Not only will he be able to catch up on their school work, but this would help him get on a more personaly/closer bond with each player. Otherwise, I can;t really think of anything else that i would do differently.
